E-commerce Website Design
Kusina De Gracia is my first Web Design Project for 2018. A very simple WordPress E-commerce store project utilizing WooCommerce Store Corner Theme by Themescorners. I choose the theme based on the ratings, recent updates, its clean canvas and cost nothing.
The WooCommerce integration of the Store Corner Theme made it easy to set-up PayPal’s Quick checkout and a future inclusion of stipe is already implemented in the theme. Forms are already in place, you just need to layout the labels that you need and voila!
The website design I created almost doesn’t have any resemblance to the original, but you can always go wild with your layout through CSS and a little manipulating via its pages. Just make sure to comments where you’ve taken them, then finalize, add or delete those comments when necessary.
enge I got from this theme is debugging the CSS Flexible Box Layout Module. I still have a Samsung Tablet running in Android Version 4.1.2. The CSS property Flex is pushing the logo and header navigation off the screen.

Design Updates
Changes I made was utilizing Google Fonts Raleway, which made the site’s number fonts appealing to look at and typographically the font’s sensible curves made the numbers distinguishable. This font is incredibly sexy for a sans serif.
I adopted the logo’s colour of yellow and red and pretty much rearrange the placement of how the product would appear and hide items that are not necessary for mobile, like using no background for the store’s mobile version.
It is always useful to check caniuse.com for issues that you may encounter when you are still in the developing stage. It also pays when your client trust you when it comes to colour, typography and UI layout.
